Handgunsmen (I know that is not an actual word lol): Which of these three handguns would you prefer for?
-Accuracy
-Ruggedness (e.g. beating it up a bunch and still having it work like a charm)
-Safety (e.g. banging it hard against something or dropping it while cocked and not having it discharge)

Beretta 92FS
All guns are chambered in 9mm.
You’ve got some excellent answers here as well as some good advice. Note the common opinion on the subject of “beating it up a bunch”. Nobody tries to beat up a gun. No matter how “rugged” a gun may be you can still screw it up by mishandling. I assume you weren’t planning on abusing your guns, only expressing concern that they might be overly sensitive to vibration or something like that. Don’t worry, most guns are sufficiently rugged to outlast their owners and still shoot accurately and reliably. For several years now handguns have had to pass a “drop test” without discharging. So if you get a realtively new gun (15 or 20 years old at the oldest) it will be reasonably safe if dropped. Again, be careful, a gun is a piece of machinery and like any machinery it can be misused and caused to malfunction.
